Hugely popular Digital World 2015 comes to an End
After a very festive and colorful run, Digital World 2015 comes to an end tonight while people are standing in long queues in front of Bangabandhu International Conference Center from all walks of life today, the last day of the convention, to get into it. Attendance of students were especially noticeable today as there were no empty seat at the IT career conference that took place at the Hall of Fame in the afternoon. Thousands of youth attended at the ?Conference on IT : Stepping into the Future? conference organized by BASIS Students? Forum.

A total of 12 seminars took place in the last day. Among them, at Green View, a seminar on Information Security, another at the same venue, seminar titled ?Process and Quality Practice Adaptation: Prospect and Challanges? at 2 in the afternoon were organized. Also at the late afternoon was conference on Ethical Hacking. At the same, A2I organized a seminar titled ?Promoting Public Service Innovation through the Innovation Fund? at Media Bazaar. There was a seminar on ?ICT for Good Governance in Land Administration? at Indie Town.

Session on Internet of Things
At the last day of Digital World, a special session took place at Media Bazaar on Internet of Things. Moderated by Google?s Bangladeshi official Vicki Russell, Syed Almas Kabir, co-chairperson of Internet Service Provider Association of Bangladesh; Nizam Uddin Ahmed, CEO of EATL; Buniati Kidniam, Communication Department Head of Ericsson Thailand; Aian Sakil, CEO of Augmatics; Manjurul Alam, Managing Director of Rosetta Associate attended the panel discussion.

Syad Almas Kabir said, the concept of Internet of Things is already becoming popular in Bangladesh, for instance, electricity meter, solar electricity, mobile money etc are all part of Internet of Things. Now we need a central collaboration. We hope that through National Data Center and Cloud Computing we will bring all Internet of Things together in one place.
