Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Service (BASIS) President Shameem Ahsan said, there have been rapid progresses in the eCommerce sector of Bangladesh in last few years. Local and foreign investments have made the annual transaction of this sector over 200 Crore. With building customers’ trust, the eCommerce sector can reach to the top of our economy in next 10 years. Youth will work as the dominant driving force of the sector. The sector will employ millions including entrepreneurs. This is the right time for them to be prepared to join eCommerce.
Shameem Ahsan spoke as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of ‘E-CAB Youth Forum’ held at the FREPD Auditorium of capital on Friday evening.
Special Guests of the event were Shakhawat Hossain Mamun, President, JCI Bangladesh National; Rajib Ahmed, President, E-CAB and Abdul Wahed Tomal, General Secretary, E-CAB. The ceremony was moderated by Asif Ahnaf, President, E-CAB Youth Forum. The forum will work towards making future leaders and guide the professionals associated with the sector.
