Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) as the organization of the government entrusted with the responsibility to deal with matters related to computerization renders advisory services to different government departments, organizations and autonomous bodies. It has contributed in computerization of about one hundred and forty organizations during the period of 1990-91 to 1996-97. Bangladesh Government has undertaken an ICT Internship Program for the computer manpower of the country with a view to develop their skills required for the highly competitive global ICT market. Under the program, a candidate with the qualifications as mentioned below would get an opportunity to gain valuable experience through an attachment with a software or ICT company for six months. The experience will be immensely beneficial for employment in the highly competitive internal and foreign ICT market. Requirements: -
4-year Graduation certificate holder, or students appeared in the final semester exam (with CGPA 3.0 or more in the previous exams) of Computer Science/Engineering, or 4-year diploma certificate holder in any ICT subject from Government recognized institutes, or Graduate in any subject with Post Graduate Diploma (one year) in any ICT subject. -
Bangladeshi citizen having overseas Degree/ Diploma in ICT may also apply. -
Age below or equal to 30 year(s) are encouraged to apply. -

Allowances for Interns: Intern will get allowance Tk. 5,000/- per month during Internship. Government will provide 60% (monthly Tk.3,000) and the rest 40% (Tk.2,000) will be provided by the company taking the services of the Intern. No other allowances/financial benefits will be provided. Two Passport Size photographs and attested copies of Mark sheets/ Transcripts of SSC, HSC and other academic degrees have to be submitted with the application.
